The Chatham Maroons will take a trip up the Hwy. 401 Wednesday night to face the London Nationals.
It's the first time the two teams are facing off since the Maroons were eliminated by the Nationals in the semifinals of the GOJHL's Western Conference playoffs in the spring. The Nationals went on to win the Sutherland Cup.
Chatham is coming off of a 5-3 win against the first-place Leamington Flyers at home, while London lost its last game -- also against Leamington -- 6-3.
In order to find success tonight, the Maroons will likely need to shut down London's one-two punch up front of Brandon Glover (11pts in 6gp) and Josh Coyle (8pts in 5gp).
Chatham will also look to stay hot on the powerplay -- the Maroons' 26.9% efficiency with the man advantage currently ranks third in the entire GOJHL.
You can hear tonight's game on Country 92.9FM / 630AM CFCO or online by clicking here.
Puck drop is set for 7:30pm at the Western Fair Community Center.
