Kingsville Farm Launches App

A Kingsville farm that runs a produce delivery service in Southwestern Ontario, has launched a new app.

Lee & Maria's says their mobile app will allow customers in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent to order locally grown produce and products and have them delivered to their home.

Kevin Black, VP of business development, believes the app is the first of its kind in Canada.

"We became the first home delivery option in the region five years ago," says Black. "We pioneered online ordering in the region and a mobile app was the next natural step for us to take."

The app will allow customers to sign-up, pick a "bin", choose how often they want it delivered, and add other local products. Lee & Maria's currently has over 1,000 customers.

Lee & Maria's began in 1977, and the 30-acre farm includes an on-farm markets and the delivery service.
