A Chatham-Kent councillor is in hot water after tweeting "this is gross" in response to a photo of Playboy's first transgender "Playmate."
The twitter account "All American Girl" tweeted a link to a story about Playboy featuring a transgender model in its November issue on Saturday.

That same day, Councillor Michael Bondy took to twitter to express his thoughts on the post about the new model.
This is gross

Bondy responded to his original tweet in at attempt to clarify his position.
Let me clarify. All pornography is gross. Exploitation of anyone is degrading to all involved.

Bondy says he didn't mean that being transgender is gross.
"I think all levels of pornography are gross. When I saw this tweet about Playboy and their latest trans model, I think it's another level of exploitation of anybody and everybody," said Bondy. "Probably what is already a marginalized community is being further exploited by the pornography industry."
He says he's not taking a stand in favour of any particular sexual identity or orientation.
"I wouldn't say I'm supportive of the trans community, I'm not supportive of any sexual orientation. I think people live and let live. I don't think I put support behind trans communities, nor do I put my support behind the heterosexual community. That's anybody's private business-- it doesn't need my support," explains Bondy.
