CK Police Team Up With Lakeshore OPP To Make Arrest

Chatham-Kent police say they've made an arrest now after recovering some stolen bikes and some fishing and hunting equipment from a residence in Chatham last month.

Police say those items and some clothing were recovered while officers were searching a home on Jeffery St. on November 24 as part of an investigation that saw local officers team up with Lakeshore OPP. The items that police recovered were reported stolen from residences in both Chatham-Kent and Lakeshore.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested a Chatham man on Wednesday and charged him with two counts of possession of stolen property.

He was taken into custody pending a hearing at the courthouse.
