Police say a student sent threatening emails to fellow students and staff at École élémentaire catholique Saint-Michel in Leamington on Thursday just before 8:30am.
School officials contacted police and the OPP located and arrested a suspect who, investigators say, was not on school property at the time.
Classes were not interrupted and the OPP says there are no public safety concerns.
