The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy.
Kensington Palace made the official announcement on Twitter Monday morning, adding the baby boy weighs 8 lbs 7 oz.
The statement says her Royal Highness and the child are both doing well.
There is no word yet on what name Prince William and Kate have chosen for the newest member of the Royal Family.
The baby is fifth in line to the throne, behind his grandfather Prince Charles, his father Prince William and his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
