Chatham-Kent OPP (Photo by Matt Weverink)The Ontario Provincial Police in Chatham-Kent has charged a 34-year-old LaSalle man after stopping an alleged drunk driver.
Officers were on patrol on Dillon Rd. in Chatham-Kent around 10:30am Friday when they spotted a driver committing a traffic violation.
When they stopped the driver, they allege he was impaired.
The man is now charged with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
Rondeau Harbour and Wheatley Harbour will now have the funding to make infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
