Man Charged with Assault
A 26-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stealing a woman's bicycle and then spitting at her when she asked for it back.
Police say the incident took place earlier this month in Wallaceburg. The woman reportedly approached the man, and was asking for her bike back when the exchange escalated to an argument, resulting in the man allegedly spitting at the woman.
Police located the man early Tuesday morning and arrested him.
A Wallaceburg man has been charged with theft and assault. He was released pending a future court date on June 19.

Man Damages Camera in Cell Block
A man allegedly damaged a camera in the cell area of the police department while in custody over an alleged theft.
An 18-year-old Tilbury man has been charged with theft, possession of property obtained by a crime, and mischief. He was released pending a court date on June 19.

Youth Charged with Mischief
A 17-year-old youth is in trouble with police after officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in Chatham and found an apartment with extensive damage.
Police say the youth is now charged with mischief under $5,000 for allegedly causing significant damage to the home. According to police, he remains in police custody and will be released Tuesday pending a future court date on June 18.

Man Charged with Theft
A shoplifting complaint at TSC on St. Clair St. in Chatham Monday night resulted in an arrest.
Police say a 19-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000. He was released and ordered to appear in court on June 19.
