Officers say emergency crews were called to the scene on Lorne Ave. at around 9:30pm Monday and following an investigation, police were able to identify a suspect.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
A 25-year-old Chatham woman is charged with arson in connection with the blaze and has been released with conditions and a future court date.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
