The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) can't comment as to why a local physician has been suspended of her hospital privileges.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario was informed on April 16 that Dr. Constance Marie Nasello's privileges at CKHA were suspended on an immediate and temporary basis as of April 13.
According to the college, her medical license has not been suspended so she can still technically practice at another hospital if she received privileges with it, but cannot practice at the CKHA until the suspension is lifted. Dr. Nasello specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology, which focuses on pregnancy and childbirth.
A representative of the CKHA said they could not comment on Dr. Nasello's privileges at this time.
BlackburnNews.com reached out to Dr. Nasello's office, but she was unavailable at the time of publishing.
