If you have some goldfish crackers in your cupboard, you may want to check the package.
If they're in a Pepperidge Farm Blasted X-treme Cheddar package, you should take them back to the store or throw them out because they're being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the recall affects both the 180 g and 69 g packages.
So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the products. However, if you do get sick after eating some, you should call your doctor.
Some of the short-term symptoms of Salmonella poisoning include fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
