Police Identify 10-Year-Old Killed In Toronto Shooting

Police have identified the 10-year-old girl who was one of two people killed during a shooting rampage in Toronto's Danforth neighbourhood on Sunday.

Julianna Kozis, 10, of Markham was killed during the shooting in the area of Danforth Ave. and Logan Ave., police said Tuesday evening.

"Her family has requested privacy during their time of grief," police said in a statement.

The shooting also claimed the life of 18-year-old Reese Fallon and injured 13 others.

The gunman, 29-year-old Faisal Hussain of Toronto, also died during an exchange of gunfire with officers at the scene. It is unknown if Hussain was shot by police or if he took his own life. His motives for opening fire on a crowd of people is also unknown.
