Hometown Hockey Coming To Chatham-Kent

A hockey broadcasting legend will be making a stop in Chatham-Kent this December.

Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will make a stop in the area as they hit the road again this fall for their fifth cross-country tour.

The stop in Chatham-Kent will take place from December 15-16, with a special focus on the Tampa Bay Lightning facing the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, December 16. The weekend will also include two days of live entertainment, NHL alumni, local celebrities, and hockey-themed activities.

During the Sunday night broadcast, MacLean and Slone will host a pre-game show, intermission, and post-game show from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio, highlighting local culture, hockey history, and unique stories from each community they visit.
