A Wallaceburg man has been arrested in connection with a child pornography investigation in Chatham-Kent.
Police say their Internet Child Exploitation Unit got involved in June after learning that someone was distributing child pornography through social media.
As a result of the investigation, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Wallaceburg on Wednesday and seized two cell phones, a desktop computer, and a laptop computer for analysis.
Police say the 32-year-old Wallaceburg man they arrested in connection with the case is charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.
He was later released with conditions and a future court date. His name has not been released.
