Chatham-Kent police are investigating a Boxing Day break-in.
Officers said someone broke into a residence on Victoria Street in Chatham Wednesday evening. The suspect was able to get into the residence by kicking in the back door. An unknown amount of miscellaneous jewellery was reported stolen.

Two wanted women have been arrested at a border crossing on Walpole Island.
Chatham-Kent police said a 21-year-old and a 19-year-old from Walpole were both held in custody by Canada Border Services Agency. Both were wanted on a warrant for theft and possession of stolen property from an incident earlier this year.
The women were taken into custody by the Chatham-Kent Police Service for bail hearings.

A Gucci handbag has been reported stolen from an apartment in Chatham. Police said the break-in happened sometime in the past few days. A suspect(s) broke into an apartment on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.
