Man accused of stealing whiskey
Unfortunately for a 52-year-old Chatham man, there wasn't a buy one get two free deal at the LCBO Tuesday.
Police said the man is accused of walking into the LCBO on Wellington Street in Chatham Tuesday afternoon and concealing two bottles of whiskey in his jacket before grabbing a third bottle of Crown Royal.
Officers said the problem was that he only paid for one of them. The total value of the theft is estimated at $90.
Police said they were able to identify the man responsible for the theft and arrested him Tuesday night. He was charged with theft and released with conditions and a future court date.

Wanted woman arrested in Windsor
A 35-year-old woman who was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions was taken back into police custody after she turned up in Windsor.
Chatham-Kent police said the woman was released from court on January 31 with several conditions including one that stated she was supposed to live at a specific address in Wallaceburg.
Officers said when they went to check on her last week, though, they learned that she never lived at the address listed in the order.
Police tried to track her down, but when they couldn't find her, they issued a warrant for her arrest. Police found her in Windsor early this morning and arrested her.
She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
