Provincial police said the vehicle went into the centre median late Tuesday morning as a result of a blown front left tire.
The eastbound Highway 401 was down to one lane for approximately two hours while the vehicle was removed from the scene.
Police said the damages caused by the crash are considered "moderate."
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the sexual assault of a child.
