Stolen credit card leads to charges
A 27-year-old Blenheim woman is facing charges after buying some things with a credit card that did not belong to her.
According to police, between March 12 and March 16, 2019, several transactions were made using the stolen credit card. Through investigation, officers were able to identify the woman and she was located yesterday.
As a result, she is facing charges of theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000. The woman was transported to the police station where she was released with a future court date.
Break and enter in Blenheim
Sometime between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, a detached garage at a Talbot Street residence in Blenheim was broken into.
The suspect or suspects made off with $300 in tools.

Cops nab drunk driver
A 39-year-old is facing impaired driving charges after getting pulled over by police around midnight Saturday morning.
It started as a traffic stop on Colborne Street in Chatham. The officer suspected the woman was driving while under the influence of alcohol and arrested her.
The Chatham woman was taken to the police station for a breathalyzer and charged with having a blood alcohol concentration higher than the legal limit. She was released with a further court date.
