Free bus rides for Clean Air Day

Residents will soon be able to get around Chatham-Kent without having environmental guilt.

In recognition of Clean Air Day on June 5, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is offering free rides through the CK Transit system.

According to a media release, Clean Air Day is an awareness initiative to get people thinking about climate change issues. Residents are encouraged to participate in pro-active activities that will benefit the environment.

Canadian Environmental Week is now in its 46th year and takes place from June 2 until June 8.
