Capitol Theatre announces new season of shows

The 2019-2020 season at the Chatham Capitol Theatre has something for everyone.

Heather Slater, Chatham-Kent's manager of arts and culture, said they have some familiar faces returning, but some new ones are also coming.

"Burton Cummings is coming back to Chatham, so we're pretty excited about that on December 6th, so don't miss that one. Kim Mitchell will be back as well. Crash Test Dummies are with us on their 25th Anniversary tour," she said

Sesame Street Live is putting on two shows on November 21, but they also have some country shows lined up.

"September 19th, George Canyon and Friends. Very thrilled to be a part of that tour, Chatham's going to be very lucky to be part of that," said Slater. "Also on November 2 we have The Abrams, the young brother and brother duo from Kingston-area, who are pretty much taking the country world by storm."

Slater said she's very excited for a show on October 19.

"It's called Six Guitars by a very talented fellow named Chase Padgett. He's a guitarist/actor/comedian. It's a fantastic show where he plays the role of six different guitarists from totally different eras and genres of music," she said.
