The Chatham Maroons came up short in overtime to fall 4-3 to the St. Marys Lincolns on Thursday.
Braedon Caetano scored late in the first period to put Chatham on the board, but the Lincolns answered with three back-to-back goals in the second. The Maroons kept St. Marys at back and Ryan McKim and Dallas Anderson both scored to force the game into OT. However, the Lincolns scored the game-winner 4:13 into extra time.
Maroons goaltender Kevin Linker made 39 saves out of 43 shots on net.
The Maroons return home on Sunday to battle the Sarnia Legionnaires at 7 p.m.
