A 50-year-old woman faces charges after a theft at a business on Park Avenue West in Chatham.
Police say a woman tried to take $161 worth of product from the business without paying on Tuesday morning.
She was arrested for shoplifting and released with a future court date.

Officers investigated a second theft complaint from a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
In that incident, a 27-year-old man is accused of trying to take $18.97 worth of product from the store.
He faces a charge of shoplifting.
The charge has not been proven in court.

Charges have been laid against a 51-year-old man after a crash in the area of McNaughton Avenue and St. Clair Street Thursday morning.
Two vehicles were involved, but the driver of one allegedly left the scene.
Investigators were able to identify and locate the driver.

Chatham-Kent Police officers arrested three people on outstanding warrants in three separate incidents.
In the first, a 59-year-old man entered the police headquarters on an unrelated matter, and officers realized he was wanted.
In the second incident, officers attended a home on Anger Street in Blenheim and found a 28-year-old man wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to comply.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested at a home on Wellington Street West in Chatham for multiple outstanding warrants.

On Christmas Day, officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Reaume Avenue and found an intoxicated man.
He had threatened tenants and damaged a front door of a residence.
A 63-year-old man was arrested for mischief and two counts of uttering threats.
The charges have not been proven in court.
