Windsor-Essex is continuing to see a rise in the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus.
On Saturday afternoon, the local health unit reported 19 new cases, bringing the total number of cases up to 160. Information such as travel history, gender or age of patients is no longer being reported for each specific case.
The total number of virus-related deaths in the area remains at three.
So far, 1,434 tests have been administered for the virus in Windsor-Essex. A total of 210 test results are currently pending.
Across the province, the number of confirmed cases is at 3,630 as of Saturday morning.
