Deputation process changes for electronic council meetings

With Chatham-Kent Council meetings now being held electronically, some slight changes are being made to the deputation process.

Chatham-Kent Council held its first electronic meeting on March 23, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The next electronic council meeting is scheduled for April 6 at 6 p.m. The council agenda can be found by clicking, here.

Residents who want to make a deputation can submit an electronic copy to the municipal clerk's office by 3 p.m. on Monday. Submissions can be sent to [email protected].

Deputations sent before the 3 p.m. deadline will be read during the meeting by the municipal clerk.

Residents can watch the electronic council meeting through a YourTV livestream, or through the municipal Facebook page.
