Four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Chatham-Kent.
The number of cases was updated through the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit's website on Monday afternoon.
The newly reported cases include a man in his 30s, a man in his 60s, and two women in their 60s. All four are in self-isolation and contracted the novel coronavirus through "close contact."
Chatham-Kent now has a total of 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which is up from 12 reported on Friday. Of the total number of cases, four have been resolved and one remains in the hospital. Health officials confirmed the municipality's first COVID-19 related death over the weekend.
As of Monday afternoon, Ontario has reported 4,347 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which includes 132 deaths and 1,624 resolved cases.
