Friends of the Village of Blyth will be doing a food drive on Good Friday.
On Friday, April 10, the group will be doing "laneway-to-laneway" collections to support the Wingham Food Bank. They will be assisted by the Fire Department of North Huron and Peppermint Bunny. This is in lieu of the annual Easter Egg Hunt which is cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
Starting at 9 a.m. on April 10, collections will begin and people are encouraged to leave non-perishable food items at the end of their laneways to be collected. If you want to purchase a bag of food ($10 or $20) for the food bank without going outside, you can call Blyth Food Market and they will take your order over the phone at 519-523-4551.
