Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame announces impacts of COVID-19 to their 2020 schedule

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys has announced some scheduling adjustments due to COVID-19.

With the impacts of the virus being felt worldwide, the CBHOF has decided to postpone the 2020 induction celebrations until further notice. That includes the ceremonial first pitch on June 18th, the 24th annual Celebrity Golf Classic and Banquet on June 19th and the induction ceremony on June 20th.

Additionally, all of the ball fields and the museum itself are closed to the public until further notice.

"While the impacts of COVID-19 on the Hall’s events and operations are disappointing, the health and wellbeing of Canadians are paramount.  We look forward to welcoming Canadians back to our site and events when it is safe to do so to celebrate the great history of baseball in Canada and the tremendous inductee class of 2020," said Board of Directors Chair Adam Stephens.

These updates and others will be shared at www.baseballhalloffame.ca and via the Hall of Fame’s social media channels.
