Charges laid after police pursuit
A 23-year-old Blenheim man and a 26-year-old Thamesville man are facing break-in and theft-related charges following a police pursuit in Morpeth.
Police said an abandoned vehicle with unauthorized plates was spotted on Talbot Trail on April 12. Officers said two people got in the vehicle, which resulted in a traffic stop. However, the driver allegedly refused to immediately pull the vehicle over for police.
The two men are accused of being involved in a break and enter.
Police said the 23-year-old Blenheim man was charged with break and enter, theft, possession of break-in instruments, and possession under $5,000. A 26-year-old Thamesville man was charged with break and enter, theft, possession under $5,000, possession of break-in instrument, flight from police, dangerous driving, and impaired driving. Both men have future court dates.

Vehicle reported stolen in Tupperville
Officers are on the lookout after someone stole a pickup truck in Tupperville.
Police said a 2013 black/brown Ford F150 King Ranch with oversize tires and rims was reported stolen sometime between midnight and 9:30 a.m. on April 12.
