Four new COVID-19 cases confirmed in CK

With more people being tested for COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent, the number of confirmed cases has gone up slightly to a total of 29.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit updated its numbers on Friday show that four more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Of the 29 total cases reported, 12 have been resolved. One person died as a result of the virus at the beginning of the month.

The number of tests pending has gone up from a 125 on Thursday to 157 on Friday. A total of 825 Chatham-Kent residents have been tested for COVID-19.
