Break-in at Parks Blueberries 

Police are investigating after a break and enter at a popular Chatham-Kent establishment.

Sometime overnight Saturday, an unknown suspect forced their way into Parks Blueberries on Longwoods Road by smashing the front door.

Once inside, the suspect removed three cash drawers and then fled the scene.

Additional break and enters

Police are also looking for tips after three additional break and enters in the municipality.

Around 4 a.m. Saturday, unknown suspects entered a shed on Baldoon Road in Dover Township.

They were able to get away with a 2016 Suzuki Four-Wheeler with license plate 3DL80.

Sometime overnight Saturday, a shed was also broken into on Park Avenue West in Chatham.

The suspects got inside by prying the door open. It's unknown at this time what was taken.

A third shed was broken into overnight Saturday, also on Park Avenue West.

The suspects cut a lock and removed a teal coloured Schwinn bicycle, multiple fishing rods and a trimmer.

Anyone with any information on the incidents is asked to contact police or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Burlington man arrested on warrant

Around 10:30 a.m. Saturday Chatham-Kent police got a call from Halton Regional Police that they had a man in custody who was wanted on a warrant with CK police.

Officers went to Halton and executed the warrant.

The 36-year-old Burlington man was eventually released with a future court date.
