The Municipality of West Grey will hold a virtual public meeting regarding building fees next month.
In a release, the municipality says they will host the online meeting on Zoom video chat on May 19th at 7 pm. Residents can join the meeting on www.zoom.us using the meeting ID 974 7346 9141. They can also call 1-647-558-0588 to gain access. West Grey Council will discuss changes to local building fees and will accept public feedback.
On April 4th, West Grey followed provincial and federal guidelines and closed all non-essential construction sites. The municipality's building department may still issue permits for what they deem essential projects.
“West Grey continues to follow public health and provincial guidelines during this difficult time,” said Mayor Christine Robinson. “Our building department may issue permits for essential construction projects and is working hard behind the scenes so we can hit the ground running once restrictions are lifted.”
