Bruce Grey Catholic students get the tools they need to learn online

Over 1,100 Chromebooks were distributed to Bruce-Grey Catholic students this month to support Phase two of Distance Learning.

A family survey regarding technology and access to internet services ensured families could request a device for each student that required one in order to participate in Learn@Home distance learning.

Families set up a time when they could drive up to their children's school and safely pick up their devices while honouring physical distancing.

In addition, the board launched a new virtual school for each school within the district, that serves as a one-stop-shop for families to access school announcements, safe and secure teacher classrooms, helpful videos, and access to a parent help desk.
