Assault with weapon

A man is in police custody after allegedly confronting two females who wouldn't get out of his way while they were walking.

According to police, the two females were walking in the area of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg when a male on a bicycle tried to get past them. They had the right of way and refused to move for the cyclist.

The male then allegedly got off his bike, pulled a large knife out of his backpack and confronted the pair. Officers responded and arrested the suspect. The knife was also located in the area.

The male party was held for bail.

Man arrest on warrant

CK police were able to nab a man wanted on multiple warrants.

The 48-year-old was located on Sandy Street in Chatham.

He was arrested, held for bail and eventually released with a future court date.

People were also able to locate a man on Talbot Trail in Shrewsbury for breaching release conditions.

The individual was arrested and released with a future court date.

Break and enters in Bothwell

Police are asking people to come forward with information after several storage units were broken into in Bothwell.

It happened on Lambton Line. A total of six units were damaged, four of which were entered. Damage is pegged around $9,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
