Chatham-Kent Public Health is reporting a jump in the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the municipality.
On Saturday afternoon, the number of active cases went from 53 down to six.
So far, Chatham-Kent has had a total of 89 confirmed cases, 51 of which were the result of an outbreak at a local greenhouse production facility. As of Saturday, there are no reported outbreaks at local long-term care or retirement homes.
In the municipality, 2039 people have been tested with 23 results currently pending.
Across Ontario, 19,944 confirmed cases were reported on Saturday, a 1.8 per cent increase from Friday’s figures.
