Siskins to rebrand as the KW Siskins

The Waterloo Siskins have officially announced a rebranding to become the KW Siskins.

With the Kitchener Dutchmen moving to Ayr and becoming the Centennials, the Siskins are the only remaining GOJHL Jr. B team in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. In the release, team president Curtis Clairmont says the franchise is looking forward to working closely with both the Kitchener and Waterloo minor hockey associations, and to continue being a top elite development organization.

The Siskins will continue playing out of the Waterloo Rec Complex, and are the current reigning Sutherland Cup champions after the GOJHL season was cancelled mid playoffs due to COVID-19.
