Chatsworth reopens parks and sports fields

The Township of Chatsworth has reopened all Township-owned parks, green spaces, and sports fields with restrictions.

That includes physical distancing, gatherings of no more than 5 people, no organized sports teams, and no restroom facilities.

Beaches and Playgrounds will remain closed at this time.

"On behalf of Council, I would like to thank the residents of the Township of Chatsworth for their cooperation and patience during this COVID-19 pandemic," said Mayor Scott Mackey.

The Township continues to follow the lead of the Province of Ontario and Grey Bruce Medical Officer of

Health in its decisions regarding public safety to limit the transmission of the COVID-19 VIRUS.
