COVID caseload up two in Sarnia-Lambton

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 locally inched a little higher Sunday night.

Lambton Public Health is reporting two new cases of the virus over the past 24 hours, for a total of 338.

The local health agency said one more case has been resolved for a total of 305 recoveries. The death toll stands at 25 leaving eight active cases.

Since the pandemic started, Lambton Public Health has received results from over 22,000 tests, and 98.5 per cent have been negative for COVID-19.

Bluewater Health reported on its website Monday that there are no patients confirmed to have the virus in hospital. There are 23 patients, including pre-surgical screenings, awaiting test results.
