The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Bruce and Grey has shrunk to just two.
In its latest report from late Sunday afternoon, the Grey Bruce Health unit notes two active cases with no hospitalizations or any outbreaks in long term care facilities. There have been 127 total cases in the two counties with 119 recoveries and six cases referred to other health units.
The numbers in Huron and Perth are expected to be updated this morning. But going into the weekend there were 26 active cases. The majority of those cases clustered within a few households connected with the investigation near Bayfield and Dashwood. There are no outbreaks in long term care homes.
And in Wellington County, the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph health unit is reporting no cases in the county areas but there are 12 active cases in Guelph and four in Dufferin. An update is expected later this morning.
Ontario reported 115 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday and no new deaths related to the novel coronavirus.
The province also reported 106 newly resolved cases.
