Boat and trailer stolen near Thamesville

Chatham-Kent police are looking for an olive coloured 16-foot fishing boat that was reported stolen from a residence on Cider Mill Line sometime over the weekend.

Police said it was taken sometime between August 29 and 30 along with an Evinrude outboard motor and trailer.

Drills, tires reported stolen after break-in

Police are also investigating a break-in in Chatham Township where someone took off with two Mastercraft drills and four 20" Dodge Ram stock tires.

Police said someone broke into a barn on North River Line sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 and 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 30 and took off with the drills and tires.

Dirt bike stolen during Wheatley break-in

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break and enter in Wheatley where someone stole a yellow 2005 Suzuki RMZ 250 dirt bike.

Police said someone broke into the shed on Victoria Street South sometime between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday.

Man banned from Wallaceburg business arrested

A man who was previously ordered not to attend a specific business in Wallaceburg was arrested in the parking lot of that business on Sunday.

Chatham-Kent police said the man was charged with breaching his release conditions, adding that he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft and possession.

He was taken back to police headquarters and set to be held there pending a bail hearing.
