Arrests made after warrants issued

Police in Chatham-Kent have arrested several people who were wanted on outstanding warrants.

On Wednesday afternoon, officers responded to an incident involving a man who was wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions.

Police arrested the 28-year-old Chatham man and he was eventually released with a future court date.

Elsewhere, officers attended a private property in Dresden on Wednesday afternoon for an incident involving a Chatham man.

The 37-year-old was arrested and removed from the property after he refused to leave.

On Wednesday evening, Chatham-Kent police located a man who was wanted for several incidents with Lambton OPP.

The man was arrested and later released by the OPP.

Lastly, officers went to a residence in Chatham early Thursday morning after getting a complaint about an unwanted person.

The 29-year-old Chatham man was found and arrested for breaching the peace.

He was taken to the police station and held in custody.

Break and enter in Ridgetown 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating break and enters at multiple storage lockers on Erie Street North in Ridgetown.

An unknown number of suspects entered and damaged the units and got away with several items.

Damage is estimated at around $400 and the investigation is ongoing.
