Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for the majority of southwestern Ontario.
The watch was issued late Sunday evening for several regions and ended by early Monday morning, with the exception of Norfolk County.
Meteorologists predicted thunderstorms that could produce strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
A special weather statement remains in effect for Elgin County, Norfolk County, Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent that calls for wind gusts up to 80 kilometres per hour throughout Monday morning.
A separate flood watch has also been issued for areas along the shorelines of Lake Erie.
