Windsor-Essex sees 11 new COVID-19 cases

Public health officials in Windsor-Essex reported 11 additional cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.

The latest cases bring the regional total to 2,590. Six of the cases are from close contact while the remaining five are under investigation.

Two more people recovered from the virus over the past 24 hours in Windsor-Essex. A total of 2,426 of the total cases are listed at being resolved.

There remained COVID-19 outbreaks at three retirement homes in the region on Sunday and zero workplace outbreaks.

Elsewhere, provincial health officials reported 204 new cases on Sunday and processed over 31,000 tests.
