Crime of the Week – September 15, 2020

Sometime during the early hours of Saturday, September 12th, 2020 thieves entered the locked compound of a business in the 300 block of Richmond Street in Chatham.

Once inside the suspects stole 12 transport truck tires, some of them on rims. The value of the theft is over $7000.

At least two people would have had to have been involved in this theft, along with a truck or a trailer to remove the tires. If you saw anything suspicious in this area of Richmond Street call 1800-222- 8477 with your anonymous information. You could earn a cash reward.
