COVID-19 cases continue to fluctuate in the local area.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit added two new confirmed cases to the list on Wednesday, both in Owen Sound. The total active case count sits at seven.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health officials are reporting one new case of COVID-19 in Wellington County bringing the total to five active cases. But when you add Guelph and Dufferin to the count the total jumps to 51 active cases.
And in Huron County, health officials continue to monitor an outbreak at Cedarcroft Retirement Home in Stratford. There are three new active cases involving residents and one involving a staff person.
It was released Wednesday that a second resident, who was in palliative care, passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.
