Huron Perth Public Health is going to host a series of community immunization students for grade 7 students in both counties.
The immunization clinics usually take place in schools but due to COVID-19, the clinics will be held in other locations. The clinics will vaccinate grade seven students against Meningococcal (Meningitis), Hepatitis B, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The Meningococcal vaccine is required for school attendance according to the Immunization of School Pupils Act.
Clinics will be held on the following days in the following locations: -December 1: Listowel -December 2: Exeter, St. Marys -December 3: Stratford, Clinton -December 7: Mitchell -December 8: Wingham -December 9: Stratford, Seaforth -December 10: Goderich, Milverton
The clinic hours will be 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will be by appointment only. Appointments can be made online at http://www.hpph.ca/grade7vaccines. The location of the clinic will be given after appointment booking. If you are unable to book online, you may call to book your appointment at 1-888-221-2133 extension 2025 for Huron and extension 3291 for Perth.
