Few new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

Midwestern Ontario is seeing a low number of new COVID-19 infections.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported just one new case today, in Owen Sound. There are 41 active cases. The number of Variants of Concern rose to 24 confirmed cases, twelve of them active. Four people are in hospital.

Huron Perth Public Health reported no new cases Tuesday. And the number of active cases continues to decline in in Huron Perth, with twelve active cases Tuesday. There are no hospitalizations due to the virus.

Public health officials reported three new cases in Wellington County, where there are 22 active cases. Across the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health region, there were 17 new cases, and there are 128 active cases.
