More charges laid against driver after fatal crash on Longwoods Road

A 19-year-old Dresden woman is facing more charges after a crash on Longwoods Road earlier this month that claimed the life of another 19-year-old woman.

Chatham-Kent police said Arielle Wall was initially charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death after the crash on April 12, 2021.

She was later released pending a future court date.

Police said the Traffic Management Unit continued to investigate the cause of the collision and have since charged Wall with four more offences: operation of a motor vehicle while impaired (over 80) causing death, dangerous driving causing death, stunt driving, and speeding.
