Active COVID cases down seven Monday in Sarnia-Lambton

Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID-19 case count dropped Monday.

Lambton Public Health reported five new confirmed cases for a total of 3,262 since the start of the pandemic. Cases considered resolved increased by 12 to 3,133, lowering the number of active infections by seven to 73.

Since March 3, the health unit has identified 383 cases as variants of concern (VOCs).

There are five workplace and institutional outbreaks, up one and Bluewater Health had 13 positive patients in hospital Monday, an increase of three.
