Environment Canada tracked a series of strong thunderstorms throughout southwestern Ontario on Tuesday.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent for the afternoon and into the evening.
Shortly after 3 p.m., forecasters began monitoring a line of severe thunderstorms stretching roughly from Point Edward to just west of Amherstburg, moving east at 40 kilometres per hour.
The weather agency called for more showers and another possible thunderstorm later Tuesday night, before skies clear after midnight. All warnings and watches for the area were lifted at around 10:30 p.m.
