Active COVID caseload holding steady

Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID-19 caseload is holding steady.

Lambton Public Health reported just one new case of the virus Tuesday as well as one more case considered resolved, leaving the active case count at nine.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, there have been 3,626 cases reported and 3,553 recoveries.

There have been 64 deaths linked to the virus. The most recent was reported by the health unit on Monday.

An outbreak declared on June 25 at Afton Park Place is over and Bluewater Health has one COVID-positive patient in hospital, up one in the last 24 hours.
